About Soroptimist
Chartered in 1947, Soroptimist International of Corona is a non-profit 501 (c)(3)* business women’s service organization, which improves the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world.  Our signature service programs are “Dreams and Decisions”, a workshop for intermediate school girls with emphasis on building self-esteem, mentoring, and education to help prevent teen pregnancy; and “Fresh Start Clothes Closet”, a project providing job interview clothing and accessories for women needing a helping hand to go back into the work force.

Soroptimist International of Corona also provides annually youth scholarships, the Women’s Opportunity Award and the Violet Richardson Award. Our annual “Making a Difference for Women” luncheon recognizes local women who excel in diverse areas of community service. We also support Alternative to Domestic Violence, the Teen Parent Program at Corona Vista High School and Inspire Life Skills.
